About
Lia Beltrame, LICSW, MPH, PMP
Therapy and healing have always been at the heart of my work. I'm a bilingual and bicultural therapist, coach, advisor, and a lifelong student of people and systems. My approach is active, grounded, and relational. I care deeply about creating a space where your experience is heard, held, and honored.

My work focuses on life transitions, anxiety, stress, and multicultural identity, often with professionals and globally minded individuals navigating shifts in purpose, belonging, or relationships. I also support those exploring deeper emotional or spiritual questions, including the integration of meaningful experiences such as travel, loss, or psychedelic work.

I’ve been doing this work for over 14 years and was trained at Boston University. Before starting my private practice, I spent more than a decade in leadership and consulting roles across behavioral health and public health systems. I’ve directed clinical programs, supervised teams, expanded access to care in underserved communities, and trained providers in compassionate, culturally responsive practices. This shaped the way I show up: attentive to individual needs while attuned to the larger systems that influence our lives.

Today, I offer online therapy to clients in Massachusetts and Florida, coaching to clients around the world, and collaborate with universities, nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations. Whether you are beginning something new or searching for direction, I’m here to support you with presence, perspective, and care, helping you find alignment between where you are and where you want to be.

Experience
My Approach
I use a trauma-informed, integrative approach rooted in evidence-based practice and whole-person care. We focus on what’s happening in your life right now, while understanding the patterns underneath and the experiences that shaped you. My work is informed by:

-
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you notice and shift unhelpful thought patterns and reactions.
-
Attachment and psychodynamic-informed therapy to understand how past relationships and experiences influence how you feel, relate, and navigate different areas of your life.
-
Mindfulness and body awareness to calm the nervous system and strengthen your internal sense of safety.
-
Multicultural and cross-cultural frameworks that honor your identity, background, and the spaces you move through.
-
Strengths-based and relational perspectives to help you build on what’s already working.

My work is also guided by Gentle Shifts™: an approach centered on small, realistic steps that create lasting change through clarity, safety, and action.
